ORDINANCE FACT SHEET
PULASKI COUNTY QUORUM COURT
Title: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 99 -OR -120 TO ESTABLISH
THE RATES OF TAXATION TO BE LEVIED ON REAL AND PERSONAL
PROPERTY IN MAUMELLE FOR THE TAX YEAR 1999.
Sponsor: Honorable Tim Cain
Impact on general fund: none
Impact on other funds: none
Assigned to: Administration and County Services Committees
Fact Sheet Prepared by: Mark Albright
Explanation:
This ordinance amends last month's millage ordinance to change the
apportioned rate applied to Maumelle's property taxes. The overall
rate is the same, but Maumelle's letter to the Circuit County
Clerk's office did not specify that part of the millage was to go
to the general fund and part of it was to go to bonded
indebtedness. This ordinance breaks down the rates that have since
been specified by Maumelle officials.
