AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE LAND USE PLAN
(16,222) IN THE I -30 PLANNING DISTRICT
FROM INDUSTRIAL AND MIXED COMMERCIAL
INDUSTRIAL TO MIXED USE, PUBLIC
INSTITUTIONAL, PARK /OPEN SPACE, LIGHT
INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Mixed Commercial Industrial on the north
side of Roosevelt from McAlmont to Barber at the Mann Magnet
School be amended to Public Institutional.
SECTION 2. That Mixed Commercial Industrial on the north
side of Roosevelt Road from I -30 to McAlmont and from Barber to
Confederate Boulevard and on the south side from I -30 to Barber
Street but not including those lots facing Barber be amended to
Commercial on the Land Use Plan.
SECTION 3. That Industrial and Mixed Commercial Industrial
for an area bounded by Confederate Boulevard, 30th Street,
Roosevelt Road and Barber Street including those lots facing
Barber on the west side of that street be amended to Mixed Use.
SECTION 4. That Industrial for a strip of land immediately
south of the Commercial area in Section 1 from
I -30 to the Mixed Use area in Section 3 for a depth of 150 feet
be amended to Commercial.
SECTION 4. That Industrial for an area south of the levee
and railroad tracks north and east of I -30 and I -440 be amended
to Park /Open Space.
SECTION S. That Industrial for an area bordered on the west
by I -30, the south by the PK /OS in section 4, the Mixed Use area
in Section 3 and the Commercial area in Section 2 be amended to
Light Industrial.
