ORDINANCE NO. 17,971
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 23. OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS PROVIDING FOR ESTABLISHMENT
OF AN APPLICATION FEE FOR FILING TOWER USE
PERMITS.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 17,664 adopted January 20, 1998 provided for the
establishment of Wireless Communication Facility regulation; and
WHEREAS, there is a cost involved in the evaluation of applications for wireless
communication facilities; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 23. provides for a catalogue of all land development fees,
with no provision for WCF applications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
SECTION 1. That Chapter 23, Section 23 -3. fees be amended to provide for the
insertion of a new paragraph which is to be numbered (c) (6) and to read as follows:
(6) Tower Use Permits:
(a) $125.00 for all sites up to'' /z acre in area
(b) $200.00 for all sites between ' /Z acre and 5 acres, in area
(c) $300.00 for all sites 5 acres and larger
The land area of the ownership within which the tower lease site is placed
shall be the acreage used for determining the fee.
SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after
its passage.
