AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO AN ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT
WITH PETERS & ASSOCIATES ENGINEERS FOR
MISSISSIPPI & MARKHAM AND LEE & VAN
BUREN INTERSECTIONS, 1998 REVENUE BOND
PROJECTS.

WHEREAS, a $16,000,000 Revenue Bond was approved for improvement of streets and
drainage in the City of Little Rock.
WHEREAS, Mississippi & Markham and Lee & Van Buren intersections are selected
projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to transfer and appropriate $470,000
from the 1998 Revenue Bond Fund and enter into an engineering services contract with Peters &
Associates Engineers in the amount of $65,560 ($59,600 plus 10% contingency) for Mississippi &
Markham and Lee & Van Buren intersections.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
