4 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MATCHING FUNDS FOR THE 1998
5 LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM.

7 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Finance Department indicates that the funds are
8 available; and
9 WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors that these funds be used for
10 matching funds for the Police Department 1998 Local Law Enforcement Block Grant
11 Program.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
13 DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 SECTION 1. The sum of $103,916 is hereby appropriated from the Balance
15 Sheet Account (100 — 8560) Grants Match to be transferred to a Special Project that will
16 bear interest as matching funds for the 1998 Local Law Enforcement Block Grant
17 Program.
