AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR A WAIVER OF BOUNDARY
STREET IMPROVEMENTS FOR GRAYROCK
SUBDIVISION LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER
OF CHENAL PARKWAY AND GAMBLE ROAD.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 31 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for waiver of
certain requirements within the Subdivision Ordinance and Master Street Plan for the City of Little
Rock for Grayrock Subdivision located at the northeast comer of Chenal Parkway and Gamble Road,
as follows:
Subsection a. That a waiver be approved from provisions of section 31 -282, requiring
whenever a commercial subdivision abuts a partially constructed public street, a
minimum one -half of the street be constructed to boundary street standards.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its passage.

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE PARK SYSTEM MASTER
PLAN (ORDINANCE 14,517), MODIFYING A PROPOSED
PARK AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF CHENAL PARKWAY
AND GAMBLE ROAD, AND FOR OTHER MATTERS.
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department agrees the
reduction in the Community Park Site is appropriate; and,
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission after
discussion at a Public Hearing believes the appropriate use
to be commercial.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Park System Master Plan text in the new
park site Section #35 12B (CP) Rock Creek Park Expansion"
the legal description is hereby modified to read as follows:

Part of the NE 1/4 of Section 5. T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Little
Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly:
"Commence the SE corner of the NW 1/4 NE 1/4, Section
5; thence S00 052'33 "W 142 feet; thence S51 055131 11W
203.80 feet; thence N89 007.27 "W 50.64 feet; thence
N59020112 "W 393.19 feet; thence N00 044'36 "E 246 feet;
thence S87 036111 "E 640 feet to point of beginning
containing 4.7 acres more or less."
SECTION 2. The Rock Creek Park Expansion Site as shown
on the Park System Master Plan is modified to reflect the
removal of land at the NE corner of Gamble Road and Chenal
Parkway.
