ORDINANCE NO. 17,715
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE
ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN LANDS TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a Petition for Voluntary Annexation (the "Petition ") was filed with the County
Clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas, on Janum 13. 1998, by the owners of hereinafter described lands
praying that said lands be annexed to and made a part of the city of Little Rock, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, on February 18. 1998, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, found
that the Petition was signed by a majority of the total number of real property owners in the area
proposed to be annexed and by the owners of more than one -half of the acreage of said area; that said
lands are contiguous to and adjoining the present corporate limits of the City of Little Rock; that an
accurate map of said lands has been filed with and made part of said Petition; that proper notice has
been given for the time and in the manner prescribed by law; and that all things pertaining thereto
have been done in the manner prescribed by law and that said lands should be annexed to and made
part of the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said Order of Annexation made by
Pulaski County Court has expired and no appeal has been taken from said Order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The following described territory contiguous to and adjoining the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, excluding adjacent streets and public rights -of -way and specifically excluding the
right -of -way for Gordon Road, be and the same hereby is accepted as annexed to and made part of
the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas; to -wit:

BEGINNING AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE NORTH RIGHT -OF -WAY LINE OF
ARKANSAS STATE HWY. #10 AND THE EAST LINE OF THE SE I/4 NW I /4, SAID SECTION
