3 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
4 TO EXTEND A CONTRACT YOUTH EMPLOYABILITY
5 AND VIOLENCE PREVENTION SERVICES.

7 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors adopted Resolution Number 10,144 on December 2,
8 1997 to extend a contract for youth employability and violence prevention services, subject to
9 appropriations; and
10 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Board of Directors adopted Ordinance Number 17,646, the
11 1998 Budget Ordinance, on December 16, 1997, to establish appropriations for these contracts
12 from prevention, intervention and treatment funds generated from the FUTURE -Little Rock tax
13 revenue.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
15 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

17 Section 1, The City Manager is hereby authorized to extend the following contract for
18 youth employability and violence prevention:
