AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 17,065
ADOPTED DECEMBER 26, 1995 PROVIDING FOR THE
INSERTION OF NEW FEES LANGUAGE FOR SIGNS AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the costs of providing rezoning, subdivision and PZD signs and plan amendment is a
burden on the budget; and
WHEREAS, the staff of Planning and Development Department has determined an equitable cost
for signs; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock has determined that fee
assessment is appropriate.
WHEREAS, the review process for Master Plan Amendment is burdensome on the budget, and a
fee for review and signage is appropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Ordinance Number 17,065, Section 3. Be amended to provide for the
insertion of a new entry to be (b) (5)
(5) Land Use Plan Amendments and other appeal, waiver or requests to modify a
Master Plan element shall be assessed a fee of $50.00
SECTION 2. That Ordinance number 17,065 be amended for purposes of inserting new
language to be Section 4. And Sections 4. and 5. Be renumbered as 5. and 6., The new section to
read as follows:
SECTION 4. All Rezoning, Subdivision, Board of Adjustment, Site Plan, Planned
Zoning District and Conditional Use Permit applications are to be furnished a sign
for posting. The fee for provision of the sign shall be as follows:
(a) All 4' X 4' signs for 10 acre and larger sites shall be assessed a $25.00
fee. (Non - refundable)
(b) All signs 12" X 18 ", 18" X 24" or any other sign less than 4' X 4'
square shall be assessed a fee of $5.00. (Non- refundable)
(c) These fees are due and payable at the time the application fee is paid.

SECTION 3. All applications Sled for appeal, variance or waiver of Master Plan
elements shall be assessed a fee of $5.00 for each sign. (Non - refundable)
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect on January 15,
