AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF THE PUBLIC
UTILITY EASEMENT IN SAM'S TRACT OF SPENCER
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas on the 30th day of October, 1997, asking the Board of Directors to
vacate a portion of the public utility easement designated on the plat of Spencer Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, now appearing of record in Plat Book D, Page 940,
and Plat Book E, Page 141, in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board has, at the time and
place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and
has ascertained that the easement, or portion thereof, hereinbefore described, has
heretofore been dedicated to the public use as a utility easement herein described; that all
the owners of the property abutting upon the portion of the utility easement to be vacated
have filed with the Board their written consent to this action; and that public interest and
welfare will not be adversely affected by the vacating of the utility easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, releases, vacates and abandons
all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the utility easement
designated as follows:
See attached Exhibit "A".
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be
filed in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and recorded in the records of the
County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage and approval.

North Line of the above said Sam's Tract 129.08 feet; Thence leaving said North line of said Sam's Tract
S01 °58'26 "W, 34.04 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence S88 °01'34 "E, 494.41 feet along the north line of
said 10 foot Electric easement; Thence leaving the North line of said 10 foot Electric easement;
S57 °02'33 "E, 12.29 feet; Thence S07 044'12 "W, 3.69 feet to the South line of said 10 foot Electric
