ORDINANCE NO. 17,478
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROJECT
LIST AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM THE
INFRASTRUCTURE FUND FOR THE 1997
INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, projects were submitted to Public Works staff during Infrastructure
Ward and Neighborhood meetings; and
WHEREAS, a backlog of approximately $400 million of street and drainage
maintenance exists; and
WHEREAS, utilizing the Board approved guidelines a list of projects were
selected
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept the project list and
appropriate funds for the 1997 Infrastructure Investment Program.
SECTION 2. The project list is as follows:
INFRASTRUCTURE FUND
"H" Street and University $ 350,000
Taylor Street: Lee Street to "P" Street 1,265,000
Hinkson Road: Geyer Springs Road to Oman Road 415,000
Legion Hut Road: Mabelvale Cut -off to Oxford Valley 551,400
Total: 52,581,400
SECTION 3. Funding in the amount of $2,581,000 is available from the
Infrastructure Fund unrestricted balance.
