AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR A DEFERRAL OF
SIDEWALK REQUIREMENTS FOR UNIVERSITY TRUCK
CENTER (BP #97 -007) LOCATED AT 4601 SOUTH
UNIVERSITY AVENUE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 31 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for deferral
of certain requirements within the Subdivision Ordinance and Master Street Plan of the City of Little
Rock for University Truck Center located at the 4601 South University Avenue, as follows:
Subsection a. That Section 31 -201 requiring construction of a sidewalk on the frontage
of commercial subdivision be deferred for a period of five (5) years or until a sidewalk
construction project is undertaken that abuts the frontage, whichever occurs first. The
specific deferral is for the construction of a sidewalk six (6) feet in width including curb
and gutter to be located at the edge of the existing shoulder on University Avenue or a
five (5) foot sidewalk to be located adjacent to the property line.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its passage.
