PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS THE W'h OF THE SW' /4 AND THE SW' /4
OF THE NW I/4 OF SECTION 32, TOWNSHIP 1 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST,
PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the County Clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas by
the owner of the hereinafter described lands praying that said lands by annexed to and made a
part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and

o WHEREAS, on October 3, 1996, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, found
4' that the petition was signed by the sole owner of the following described lands located in Pulaski
County, Arkansas; that said lands were contiguous and adjoining the present corporate limits
r: of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; that an accurate plat or map of said lands had been filed
with and made a part of said petition; that proper notice had been given for the time and in the
manner prescribed by law and that all things pertaining thereto had been done in a manner

Rock, Arkansas subject to acceptance of same by the City Board of said City at the proper time

,° SECTION 1. That the following described lands contiguous to and adjoining the City
° of Little Rock, Arkansas, be, and the same are hereby accepted as part of and annexed to and

made a part of the City of Little Rock:
The WI/2 of the SW' /4 and the SW' /4 of the NW' /4 of Section 32, Township 1
North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas plus all abutting roadways.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflict.
SECTION 3. That the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby declared to be severable,
and if any section, phrase or provision shall be declared to be held invalid, such validity shall
not affect the remainder of the sections, phrases or provisions.
SECTION 4. It is hereby found by the City Board of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
that there is an immediate need to annex this property to the City in order that the proper growth
of the City can be encouraged and in order that the City utilities, police protection and other
services may be furnished to the residents therein, and that unnecessary delay of said annexation
