AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN LANDS TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND MAKING SAME A PART
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the County Clerk of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, by the owner of the hereinafter
described lands, praying that said lands be annexed to and made a
part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, on October 3rd 1996 the County Court of Pulaski
c County, Arkansas, found that the petition was signed by a

majority of the owners in area and in number of the following

c described lands located in Pulaski County, Arkansas; that said

lands are contiguous and adjoining the present corporate limits

aof the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; that an accurate plat or
m map of said lands had been filed with and made a part of said
petition; that proper notice had been given for the time and in
the manner prescribed by law, and that all things pertaining
thereto had been done in the manner prescribed by law, and that
said lands should be annexed to and made a part of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, subject to the acceptance of same by the
Board of Directors of said City at the proper time as provided by
law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said order
of annexation made by the County Court has expired and no appeal
has been taken from said order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1. That the following described lands contiguous to
and adjoining the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be, and the same
are hereby, accepted as part of and annexed to and made a part of
the City of Little Rock: The following described area, all lying
wholly within Pulaski County, Arkansas, to -wit:
Part of the SW1 /4 NW1 /4 SE1 /4 and part of the NE1 /4 SW1 /4,
Section 14, T -2 -N, R -14 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas being more
particularly described as: Beginning at the southeast corner
of the said NE1 /4 SW1 /4, a point on the present City Limits
line; thence West along the south line of the said NE1 /4 SW1 /4
and the present City Limits line to a point 273.65 ft. east of
the southwest corner of said NE1 /4 SW1 /4, said point being the
southwest corner of Brown property, (recorded in Deed Book
1026, page 115); thence along the west line of said Brown
property the following bearings and distances: N260251E,
362.04 ft.; N460371E, 191.60 ft. and N480301W, 40.00 ft. to
the southeast corner of the Hosto property (recorded in Deed
Book 1005, page 71); thence S89 019120 11W, 124.60 ft. to the
southwest corner of said Hosto property; thence N00 045110 11W
along the west line of said Hosto property and said west line
extended to the north right -of -way line of Arkansas State
Highway #10; thence southeasterly along said north right -of-
way line approximately 900 ft. to the west right -of -way line
of Patrick Country Road, said right -of -way being the present
City Limits line; thence South along the said right -of -way
line projected to the south right -of -way line of Arkansas
Highway #10; thence southeasterly along the said south right -
of -way line, being also the present City Limits line, to the
East line of the SW1 /4 NW1 /4 SE1 /4; thence South along the
said East line and the present City Limits line to the
southeast corner of said SW1 /4 NW1 /4 SE1 /4; thence West along
the south line of the SW1 /4 NW1 /4 SE1 /4 and the present City
Limits line to the southeast corner thereof and the point of
beginning; containing 26.50 acres more or less.
