AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
ro OF CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
0 ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND MAKING SAME APART
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK

o WHEREAS, a petition was filed February 6, 1996, with the County Clerk of

a Pulaski County, Arkansas, by owners of the following described lands, praying that said

U lands be annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and,
o WHEREAS, March 8, 1996, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
a
o found that the petition was signed by a majority of the owners in area and in number of the
u
following described lands located in Pulaski County, Arkansas; that said lands are

contiguous and adjoining the present corporate limits of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
y that an accurate plat or map of said lands has been filed with and made a part of said

ad
� petition; that proper notice had been given for the time and in the manner prescribed by

w law; that all things pertaining thereto had been done in the manner prescribed by law; and,
v
m that said lands should be annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
a
subject to the acceptance of same by the Board of Directors of said City at the proper time

as provided by law; and
a
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said order of annexation
made by the County Court has expired and no appeal has been taken from said order.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following described lands contiguous to and adjoining the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be, and the same are hereby, accepted as part of and
annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock:
Part of the NWI /4 and the N1 /2 of the SWl /4, Section 7, Township 1
North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly
described as follows:

Beginning at the NW corner of the NW 1/4, NW 1/4, Section 7, T -1 -N, R-
13-W; thence S 87 °18'23 "E along the North line of said NWIA, NWIA a
distance of 1244.38 feet to a point and the NE comer of said NWl /4,
NW 1/4; thence S 0 1 °24'07 "W along the East line of said NW 1/4, NW 1/4 a
distance of 1300.06 feet to a found V pipe and the NE corner of the
SEIA, NWl /4, Section 7, T -1 -N, R -13 -W; thence S 88 °36'38 "E along the
North line of said SE1 /4, NWIA a distance of 1312.67 feet to a found V
pipe and the NE corner of said SE 1/4, NW 1/4; thence S 0 1 °45'12 "W along
the East line of the NE1 /4, SW1A, Section 7, T -1 -N, R -13 -W a distance of
2619.46 feet to a found concrete monument and the SW comer of the said
NE1 /4, SWIA; thence N 88 °50'38 "W along the South line of said NE1 /4,
a distance of 1318.29 feet to a found concrete monument and the SE
corner of the NW1 /4, SWIA; thence N 88 °52'27 "W along the South line
of said NW 1/4, SW 1/4 a distance of 494.58 feet to a set 94 rebar; thence N
O1 °07'33 "E for a distance of 100.00 feet to a set #4 rebar; thence N 880
52'27 "W for a distance of 238.00 feet to a set #4 rebar; thence S 18°
48'27 "E for a distance of 106.37 feet to a set #4 rebar on the South line of
said NW1 /4, SWIA; thence N 88 °52'27 "W along the South line of said
NW1 /4, SWIM a distance of 53.28 feet to a set #4 rebar; thence N 18°
48'27 "W for a distance of 223.05 feet to a set #4 rebar; thence N 880
52'27 "W for a distance of 169.30 feet to a found rebar; thence S 01'
00'58 "W for a distance of 209.63 feet to a found rebar on the South line of
the said NWIA, SWIA; thence N 88 053'16 "W along the south line of said
NWIA, SWIM for a distance of 250.33 feet to a found concrete
monument and the SW corner of said NWl /4, SWIA; thence N 011
43'37 "E along the West line of the NWIA, SWIM and the NWl /4 of said
Section 7, a distance of 3958.96 feet to the NW corner of the NWl /4,
NWl /4, Section 7 and the Point of Beginning, containing 190.624 acres,
more or less.
