ORDINANCE NO. 12"302
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY MASTER STREET
PLAN (15,519) RECLASSIFYING THE STANDARDS
FOR THE PROPOSED SOUTH LOOP, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a Major Investment Study has been completed by the
Highway Department and Metropolitan Planning Organization which
recommends a modified design standard; and,
WHEREAS, City Staff believes it is appropriate to modify the
plan to show the new standards; and,
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission after review
and public hearing recommends the Master Street Plan standards
for the South Loop be modified.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. In the Master Street Plan text section entitled
"Functional Classification of Street System - Expressway" remove.

add.

turnarounds only, direct access from only arterials
and collectors (right turn only) with right -of -way
of 120 feet.
SECTION 3. The Master Street Plan map is modified to show
the South Loop alignment as principal arterial.

are hereby repealed.
