AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR A
CONDITIONAL WAIVER FOR CERTAIN
BOUNDARY STREET IMPROVEMENTS ON
PRIDE VALLEY AND KANIS ROAD; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, Raymond and Peggy Robbins have requested a
subdivision of property in order to build a residential dwelling
for their daughter; and
WHEREAS, such subdivision would trigger the necessity for
certain boundary street improvements on Pride Valley and Kanis
Road which be quite expensive and, in fact, would cost more that
the home to be built; and
WHEREAS, a lot split is really more appropriate as long as
the use of this property remains residential for the use of two
homes and is not a residential subdivision or, is not sold for a
commercial use; and
WHEREAS, the board has just adopted an ordinance to provide
for conditional waivers under certain limited circumstances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Chapter 31 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby
amended to provide for a conditional waiver of certain
requirements within the Subdivision Regulations of the City of
Little Rock for Robbins Addition, Lots 1 and 2 (S -1107) as
follows:
Subsection (a). That Chapter 31, Section
31 -396, "Compliance" and Section 31 -209,
"Residential Street Classification" be amended to
provide for a conditional waiver of the required
arterial street improvements along Kanis Road and
