ORDINANCE NO. 17,252
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN LANDS
TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
AND
MAKING SAME A PART OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the County Clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas, by the owner
of the hereinafter described lands, praying that said lands be annexed to and made a part of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, Carolyn Staley, the County Clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas, found that the
petition was signed by a majority of the owners in area and in number of the following described lands
located in Pulaski County, Arkansas; that said lands are contiguous and adjoining the present corporate
limits of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; that an accurate plat or map of said lands had been filed with
and made a part of said petition; that proper notice had been given for the time and in the manner
o prescribed by law, and that all things pertaining thereto had been done in the manner prescribed by law,

a-' and that said lands should be annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject to

Q) the acceptance of same by the Board of Directors of said City at the proper time as provided by law; and

v WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said order of annexation made by the

P4 County Court has expired and no appeal has been taken from said order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF

0 SECTION 1. That the following described lands contiguous to and adjoining the City of Little

p Rock, Arkansas, be, and the same are hereby, accepted as part of and annexed to and made a part of

the City of Little Rock: The following described area, all lying wholly within Pulaski County, Arkansas,
to -wit:
GLENN JOHNSON RANCH ANNEXATION TERRITORY LOCATED WITHIN
THE SE114 SECTION 14, T -2 -N, R -14-W, TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS: Beginning at the

Southwest comer of the SE1 14, SE1 /4 of said Section 14; thence west along
the south line of said Section 14, also being the present city limits line of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to the southwest corner of Tract B, Glenn
Johnson Ranch Subdivision; thence north along the west line of said Tract B,
being also the present city limits line, to the north line of the SW1 /4 SE1 /4, said
Section 14; thence east along said north line, being also the present city limits line,
54.80 ft.; thence NO3 00'07"E along the present city limits line, 305.37 ft. to the
south right -of -way line of Arkansas State Highway No. 10; thence southeasterly
along said south right -of -way line, being also the present city limits line, to the east
right -of -way line of Johnson Ranch Road; thence southerly along said east right -of-
way line to the easterly extension of the south line of Tract B, Glenn Johnson Ranch
Subdivision; thence westerly along said extension and along said south line to the
southwest corner of the SE1 /4 SE1 /4, said Section 14 and the point of beginning,
containing 33.4 acres more or less.
