ORDINANCE NO. '' 17,236
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS ORDINANCE NO.
17,068 (THE 1996 BUDGET ORDINANCE); APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR
THE ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY AND ANTI- LITTER TASK FORCE; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors received the 1996 budget proposal from the
Environmental Quality and Anti- litter Task Force and directed the City Manager to recommend
funding sources in Resolution No. 9,722; and
WHEREAS, the City's First Quarter Financial Report indicated that surplus funds existed
in the City's Special Projects Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors hereby accepts the recommendation of the City
Manager that the 1996 budget for the Environmental Quality and Anti- litter Task Force be
funded as follows:
Private donations and sponsors = $25,050
Existing Public Works Department budget = $9,250
Existing General Services Department budget = $5,500
Additional appropriation required = $55,097
Total budget = $94,897
SECTION 2. The sum of $55,097 is hereby appropriated from the fund balance of the
Special Projects Fund for the budget of the Environmental Quality and Anti- litter Task Force.
