AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY LAND USE
PLAN (16,222) IN THE HEIGHTS /HILLCREST
DISTRICT, BETWEEN REBSAMEN PARK ROAD AND
THE ARKANSAS RIVER NORTH OF CEDAR HILL ROAD
FROM OFFICE, INDUSTRIAL AND MULTIFAMILY TO
MIXED OFFICE WAREHOUSE, MIXED USE AND
MULTIFAMILY, AND FOR OTHER MATTERS.
WHEREAS, after review of the Plan and existing conditions
Planning Staff believes it is appropriate to modify the Land Use
classifications; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission after discussion of the
issue at a public hearing recommends the Plan be amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. An area either side of Riverfront Drive north of
Turtle Creek is changed from Office to Multifamily.
SECTION 2. An area between Brookwood and Riverfront Drive
south of Turtle Creek is changed from Office to Multifamily.
SECTION 3. An area between Brookwood and the railroad
tracks, north of Riverdale is changed from Industrial and Office
to Mixed Office warehouse.
SECTION 4. An area between Riverfront Drive and the
Arkansas River south of Turtle Creek is changed from Office to
Mixed Use.
SECTION 5. The Plan Map is amended as shown on the attached
sketch map.
