AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR A WAIVER OF BOUNDARY
STREET IMPROVEMENTS FOR MEARS MINI - WAREHOUSE
(Z- 4731 -A) LOCATED EAST OF THE END OF WEST 2ND
STREET AND WEST OF THE UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD
TRACKS, LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Chapter 31 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for a waiver from
certain requirements within the Subdivision Regulations of the City of Little Rock for Mears Mini- Warehouse
(Z4731 -A) located east of the end of West 2vd Street and West of the Union Pacific Railroad tracks, as
follows:
Subsection a. That a waiver be approved from the provisions of Section 31 -201,
which requires that whenever a proposed subdivision abuts a partially constructed
public street, the minimum of one -half of the required improvements be provided,
including constructing one -half the width of the street and constructing a sidewalk,
for Markham Street and Battery Street. Improvements to West 2nd Street, including
reconstruction to a 27 foot curb and gutter commercial street with a standard cul -de-
sac and a sidewalk from Summit Street, are required as a condition of this waiver.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its passage.
