ORDINANCE NO. 17,210
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO.
15,699 AND REVOKING A PLANNED ZONING
DISTRICT TITLED MARKHAM CENTER SHORT -
FORM PCD (Z- 1807 -B) AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15,699 was passed on June 30,
1989 establishing a Planned Zoning District; and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 36,
of the Code of Ordinances established a three (3) year
preliminary approval limit for development; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has failed
to complete the conditions of approval within the specified
time line, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to repeal the "PZD" Ordinance
and restore the zoning classification as previously existed.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 15,699 is hereby
repealed, removing from the official zoning map the
classification Planned Commercial District titled Markham
Center Short -Form PCD at the Northwest corner of West
Markham Street at North Rose Street.
SECTION 2. That the property described as:
Lots 10, 11 and 12 Blankenships resubdivision of
Block 8, Glendale Addition; (from PCD to 0-3
General Office District). Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4
Blankenships resubdivision of Block 8, Glendale
Addition; (from: PCD to R -5 Multifamily
District) be restored to R -5 Multifamily District
and 0-3 General Office District as existed prior
to the adoption of Ordinance No. 15,699.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect
thirty (30) days from and after its passage and approval.
