ORDINANCE NO. 17.2
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR A 5 -YEAR DEFERRAL OF
THE REQUIREMENT TO PROVIDE STREET AND
SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS FOR KAUFMAN ROAD FOR
THE MARRIOTT RESIDENCE INN (Z- 6113 -a), LOCATED
AT 1401 S. SHACKLEFORD ROAD, LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Chapter 31 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to provide for
a deferral of certain requirements within the subdivision Regulations of the City of Little Rock
for Marriott Residence Inn (Z- 6113 -a), located at 1401 S. Shackleford Road, as follows:
Subsection a. That, pursuant to Section 31- 201.h, which provides that, when
a proposed development abuts a partially dedicated or constructed public street,
the developer shall provide one -half of the required street improvements for
Kaufman Road. These improvements are deferred for 5 years, or until the
abutting section of Kaufman Road extending to Kanis Road is constructed, or is
needed for access to abutting property.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after its
passage.
