AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY MASTER
PARRS PLAN (ORDINANCE 14,517), REMOVING
A PROPOSED PARR AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER
OF VIMY RIDGE /ALEXANDER ROADS AND FOR
OTHER MATTERS.
WHEREAS, the Parks Department Staff, after review, finds
it appropriate to remove the proposed park site based on
other park developments in the area; and,
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission after
conducting a Public Hearing on the matter recommends the park
site be removed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. In the Parks Plan Text under new park site
legal descriptions " #15.8D (NP) Vimy Ridge Road Site, all of
the area contained in the South 1/2 SW 1/4 SW 1/4 Section 9,
T -1 -S, R -12 -W" is removed.
SECTION 2. The Vimy Ridge Park Site as shown on the
Park Plan Map is removed.
