ORDINANCE NO. 17,141
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY LAND USE
PLAN (16,222) IN THE BOYLE PARK DISTRICT
ALONG JOHN BARROW ROAD FROM 32ND TO 38TH
STREETS FROM MIXED USE, COMMERCIAL, LOW
DENSITY MULTIFAMILY AND SINGLE FAMILY TO
COMMERCIAL, MIXED OFFICE COMMERCIAL AND
PUBLIC INSTITUTIONAL, AND FOR OTHER
MATTERS.
WHEREAS, the Planning Staff after review of the area
finds it is appropriate to amend the Plan; and,
WHEREAS, after review of the Staff proposals the
Neighborhood Planning Committees agrees with Staff
recommendations; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission after discussion of the
issue at a public hearing agrees that the Plan should be
amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. An area either side of John Barrow Road and
either side of 37th Street from Mixed Use and Single Family
to Mixed Office Commercial.
SECTION 2. An area either side of John Barrow Road
from 32nd Street to south of 34th Street from Commercial and
Low Density Multifamily to Mixed Office and Commercial.
SECTION 3. Either side of John Barrow Road from south
of 36th to north of 37th Street from Mixed Use and Low
Density Multifamily to Commercial.
SECTION 4. The southeast corner Ludwig and 34th from
Single Family to Public institutional.
SECTION 5. An area south of the proposed Public
Institutional from Low Density Multifamily to Single Family.
SECTION 6. The northeast corner of Ludwig and 37th
Streets and the northwest corner 1,ongcoy and 37th Streets
from Mixed Use to Single Family.
SECTION 7. A 300 foot long corridor along Longcoy and
Ludwig north of 36th Street and 150 feet long south of 36th
Street from Mixed Use and Low Density Multifamily to
Park /Open Space.
SECTION 8. The Plan Map is amended as shown on the
attached Sketch Map.
