AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN LANDS TO THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND MAKING SAME A PART OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK.
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the County Clerk of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, by the owner of the hereinafter described lands, praying that said lands

be annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and,

. WHEREAS, at 2:00 P.M. on Jan. 4, 1996, the County Court of Pulaski

County, Arkansas, found that the petition was signed by a majority of the owners

Arkansas; that said lands are contiguous and adjoining the present corporate limits

3 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; that an accurate plat or map of said lands had
xbeen filed with and made a part of said petition; that proper notice had been given

t4 for the time and in the manner prescribed by law, and that all things pertaining

be annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject to the

acceptance of same by the Board of Directors of said City at the proper time as

WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said order of
annexation made by the County Court has expired and no appeal has been taken
from said order;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following described lands contiguous to and adjoining
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be, and the same are hereby, accepted as part of
and annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock:
The following described area, all lying wholly within Pulaski County,
Arkansas, to wit:
IN THE MATTER OF THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY LOCATED
WITHIN PART OF THE E 1/3 OF SE 1/4, NW 1/4 AND PART OF THE E 1/3 OF THE
NE 1/4, SW 1/4, SECTION 14 T -2 -N, R -14 -W, TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, IN
PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, AND BEING REQUESTED FOR CONSIDERATION
BY IMMANUEL BAPTIST CHURCH IN LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.

Legal Description: Beginning at the intersection of the north right -of -way of
Highway 10 (Cantrell Road) and the west line of the E 1/3 of the NE 1/4, SW 1/4;
thence NO2 104'52 "E 808.74'; thence S87 °52'08 "E 388.62' to a point on the
west right -of -way line of Patrick County Road; thence S02 010'05 "W 899.11' to a
point of the north right -of -way line of State Highway 10; thence along the north
right -of -way line of Highway 10 the following courses: N82 030'31 "W 94.38';
N73 044'03 "W 225.65'; N68 019154 "W 79.10' to the point of beginning,
containing 7.68 acres; more or less, and including all adjacent and abutting streets
and right -of -ways.
