AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR A
WAIVER OF THE BOUNDARY STREET IMPROVEMENTS
REQUIREMENTS AND A VARIANCE FROM THE
MINIMUM FRONT BUILDING LINE REQUIREMENT FOR
JOHNSON RANCH VILLAGE (S- 1074)), LOCATED AT
THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF CANTRELL ROAD AND
JOHNSON RANCH ROAD, LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Chapter 31 of the Code of Ordinances
be amended to provide for a waiver and a variance from
certain requirements within the Subdivision Regulations of
the City of Little Rock for JOHNSON RANCH VILLAGE (S- 1074),
and located at the southwest corner of Cantrell Road and
Johnson Ranch Road, as follows:
Subsection a. That a waiver be approved from the
provisions of Section 31 -201, which requires that
whenever a proposed subdivision abuts a partially
constructed public street, the minimum of one -half of
the required improvements be provided, including
constructing one -half the width of the street and
constructing a sidewalk, for Johnson Ranch Road along
the boundary of the subdivision.
Subsection b. That a variance be approved from
the provisions Of Section 31 -256, which requires that
building lines for residential lots be a minimum of 25
feet from the front street right -of -way line, and
permit a front building line of 20 feet from the front
street right -of -way line for Lots 1 -31, Block 2, and
Lots 1 -23, Block 3, Johnson Ranch village Addition.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty
(30) days from and after its passage.
