AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF

U) WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the County Clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas, by

+' the owner of the hereinafter described lands, praying that said lands be annexed to and made a

N part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and

mWHEREAS, on August 31, 1995, the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, found

< that the petition was signed by a majority of the owners in the area and in number of the
following described lands located in Pulaski County, Arkansas; that said lands are contiguous
and adjoining the present corporate limits of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; that an accurate
plat or map of said lands had been filed with and made a part of said petition; that proper notice
had been given for the time and in the manner prescribed by law, and that all things pertaining
thereto had been done in the manner prescribed by law, and that said lands should be annexed
to and made a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject to the acceptance of same by
the Board of Directors of said City at the proper time as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said order of annexation made by
the County Court has expired and no appeal has been taken from said order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the following described lands contiguous to and adjoining the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, be, and the same are hereby, accepted as part of and annexed to and

made a part of the City of Little Rock, being the following described area, all lying wholly
within Pulaski County, Arkansas, to-wit:
Parcel A - A tract of land located in the NWl /4, SE1/4, Section
36, T -2 -N, R -14 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas being more
particularly described as: Starting at the Northeast corner of said
NW1/4, SE1/4, thence S1 °34'34 "W along the East line thereof,
450 ft. to the point of beginning of Tract of land herein described;
thence N88 °25'26 "W, 525 ft.; thence SOl °34'34 "W, 500 ft;
thence S88 °25'26 "E, 525 ft. to a point on the East line of said
NW1/4, SEl /4; thence NOl °34'34 "E along said East line 500 ft.
to the point of beginning, containing 6.02 acres more or less,
including all adjacent and abutting streets and rights -of -way.
Parcel B - A tract of land in Section 36, T -2 -N, R -14 -W, Pulaski
County, Arkansas being more particularly described as: Beginning
at the Northeast comer of the NWl /4, SEl /4 of said Section 36;
thence S01°34'34 "W along the East line thereof 450 ft. to a point;
thence N88 °25'26 "W, 525 ft.; thence SOl °34'34 "W, 500 ft.;
thence S88 025'26 "E, 525 ft. to a point on the East line of said
NW1/4, SEl /4; thence S01034'34 "W along said East line and the
East line of the SW1/4, SEl /4, said Section 36, 890.24 ft.; thence
N87 °17'20 "W, 547.53 ft.; thence S12 °36'08 "W, 163.16 ft. to a
point on the South line of the NEl /4, SW1/4, SEI /4, said Section
36; thence N87 027'32 "W along said south line, 46.80 ft; thence
S01015'02 "W, 154.93 ft; thence N87 031'22 "W, 417.38 ft. to a
point on the East right -of -way line of Chenal Parkway; thence
Northwesterly along said East right -of -way line N09 056'17 "W,
948.87 ft.; thence continuing along said East right -of -way line,
N80 °03'43 "E, 10 ft.; thence continuing along said East right -of-
way line, N09 °56'17 "W, 4.01 ft.; thence continuing along said
East right -of -way line being the arc of a 2924.79 ft. radius curve
to the left, having a chord bearing and distance of Nl l °53'29 "W,
200.26 ft.; thence continuing along said East right -of -way line
N76 008'48 "E, 20 ft.; thence continuing along said East right -of-
way line being the arc of a 2944.79 ft. radius curve to the left,
having a chord bearing and distance of N21 °51' 13 "W, 819.68 ft.;
thence continuing along said East right -of -way line N60 °08'47 "E,
20 ft.; thence continuing along said East right -of -way line being
the arc of a 2964.79 ft. radius curve to the left, having a chord
bearing and distance of N30 044'36 "W, 92.06 ft.; thence
continuing along said East right -of -way line N31 °38'39 "W, 161.04
ft.; thence continuing along said East right -of -way line

ft.; thence S87 °58'10 "E, 1322.99 ft. to a point on the East line of
the SW1/4, NE1/4 of said Section 36; thence S01 *12'25 "W along
said East line 222.82 ft. to the point of beginning, containing
61.78 acres more or less, including all adjacent and abutting streets
and rights -of -way.
