3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 16,797 (THE 1995 BUDGET
4 ORDINANCE) TO REAPPROPRIATE FUNDS FROM THE FUTURE - LITTLE
5 ROCK RESERVE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, during 1994 the Board of Directors appropriated funds from the one -half
8 cent local sales tax for service initiatives recommended by the FUTURE - Little Rock task
9 forces; and

11 WHEREAS, all the funds appropriated during 1994 were unable to be used, and the
12 Board transferred the remaining funds to a reserve for future appropriations to complete the
13 service initiatives, including the expansion of alert centers; and
14 WHEREAS, the funds reserved for expansion of alert centers are now required to meet
15 the expenses of those facilities for telephones and other equipment needed to serve the public.

17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
18 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

20 SECTION 1. The sum of $30,000 is hereby reappropriated from the FUTURE - Little
21 Rock reserve account (account number 100 - 8513), and the 1995 Program Budget Summary
22 attached to Ordinance No. 16,797, the 1995 Budget Ordinance, is hereby amended to increase
23 the funding for Organization Number 1037, Neighborhood Alert Centers, by $30,000.
