AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTERS 31 AND 36 OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS PROVIDING FOR A DEFERRAL OF
SIDEWALK AND STREET IMPROVEMENT REQUIREMENTS
FOR RIVERSIDE BOX PLANNED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
(Z-4796 -A) LOCATED AT 7008 FOURCHE DAM PIKE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Chapter 31 of the Code of Ordinances be amended to
provide for a deferral of certain requirements within the Subdivision Regulations
of the City of Little Rock for Riverside Box Planned Commercial District as
follows:
Subsection a. That Chapters 31 -209, 31 -397 and 31 -398 be
amended to provide for a deferral of the installation of
sidewalk, street pavement, curb, gutter and underground drainage
until such time as there is other development in the area to a
maximum of five years and that Sections 36 -504, 36 -506 and
36 -508 be amended to provide for the deferral of paving and
improvement requirements for all internal driveways and parking
surfaces for Phase I and the retention of the existing drive
surfaces and that driveway width from Fourche Dam Pike be
widened to 24 feet at such time as Phase H is initiated. All later
phases to provide internal parking and drives to code standards.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after
its passage.
