AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR VARIANCES
FROM STREET WIDTH REQUIREMENTS AND A
WAIVER OF THE SIDEWALK REQUIREMENTS FOR
BRODIE CREEK COMMUNITY -- CONCEPTUAL LONG -
FORM PRD (Z- 5963), LOCATED ON THE WEST
SIDE OF BOWMAN ROAD, EXTENDING WEST TO
SPRING VALLEY AND NORTH TO KANIS ROAD,
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Chapter 31 of the Code of
Ordinances be amended to provide for variances from and a
waiver of certain requirements within the Subdivision
Regulations of the City of Little Rock for BRODIE CREEK
COMMUNITY -- CONCEPTUAL LONG -FORM PRD (Z- 5963), as follows:
Subsection a. That a variance from the provisions of
Section 31 -209 be approved, which requires that "Minor
Residential Streets" have a minimum pavement width of
24 feet, to permit "Skinny Ridge Streets" meeting the
test for "Minor Residential Streets" to be constructed
with a 20 foot wide street section.
Subsection b. That a variance from the provisions of
Section 31 -209 be approved, which requires that
"Standard Residential Streets" have a minimum pavement
width of 27 feet, to permit "Skinny Ridge Streets"
which meet the test for "Standard Residential Streets"
to be constructed with a 20 foot wide street section.
Subsection c. That a waiver from the provisions of
Section 31 -209 be approved, which requires that
"Standard Residential Streets" have a sidewalk along at
least one side of the right -of -way, to permit "Skinny
Ridge Streets" which meet the test as "Standard
Residential Streets" to be constructed without the
required sidewalk.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty
(30) days from and after its passage.
