ORDINANCE NO. 16,778 •
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 15,561 (THE
1994 BUDGET ORDINANCE), APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR
A VOICE MAIL TELEPHONE SYSTEM; AUTHORIZING A
CONTRACT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas passed the
Budget Ordinance for the City of Little Rock, Arkansas for 1994 on December 21, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the City has solicited bids for a voice mail system and Business
Communication System was the low bidder and staff recommends that a contract be issued to the
low bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Business
Communication System for a voice mail telephone system in an amount not to exceed $44,040.
SECTION 2. The sum of $44,040 is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated
balance of the General Fund and the Program Budget Summary attached to Ordinance No.
15,561 is hereby amended to increase the authorized budget for Organization Number 1410 and
the Telephone System Maintenance Program by $44,040.
SECTION 3. That all other provisions of Ordinance No. 15,561 shall remain in full force
and effect.
