AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY
NANAGER TO APPROPRIATE $50,634.72
FROM THE STREET FUND BALANCE TO
CLOSE THE JOHN BARROW ROAD PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City and the Arkansas Highway Department
entered into an agreement to construct John Barrow Road from
Kanis to Asher Avenue using Federal Aid Urban funds; and
WHEREAS, the City's agreed share is $25% of project cost;
and
WHEREAS, final accounting indicates that the City owes an
additional $50,634.72 to cover construction, utility relocations
and construction supervision overruns.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to appropriate
$50,634.72 from the street fund balance to close the John Barrow
Road Project.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
