ORDINANCE NO. 16,707
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT AND ESTABLISHING A PLANNED
OFFICE DISTRICT TITLED DETECTION
SYSTEMS, INC. - SHORT -FORM POD
(Z- 5838), AND LOCATED AT 14,621 KANIS
ROAD, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 36 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the
following described property be changed from R -2 to POD.
A parcel of land in Section 6, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, and
located at 14,621 Kanis Road, Little Rock, Arkansas,
being more particularly described as follows:
Part of Tract 9, Sachs Suburban Tracts, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, described as beginning at the Northwest
corner of said Tract 9; thence South along the West
line for 105.01; thence East for 1248.5' to the
Westerly right -of -way line of Kanis Road; thence
Northwesterly along said right -of -way line for 120.0'
to the Northeast corner of aid tract; thence West along
aid North line for 1180.0' to the POB, containing 3
acres, more or less.
SECTION 2. That the preliminary site development
plan /plat be approved as recommended by the Little Rock
Planing Commission.
SECTION 3. That the change in zoning classification
contemplated for DETECTION SYSTEMS, INC. -- SHORT -FORM POD
is conditioned upon obtaining a final plan approval within
the time specified by Chapter 36- 454(d) of the Code of
Ordinances.
SECTION 4. That the map referred to in Chapter 36 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
and designated district map be and it is hereby amended to
the extent and in the respects necessary to affect and
designate the change provided for in Section 1 hereof.
