16653• ORDINANCE NO. 16,653 248 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE COMMISSIONERS OF PLEASANT RIDGE STREET, WATER, DRAINAGE AND SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 636 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; DISCHARGING THE COMMISSIONERS AND THE TRUSTEE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, Pleasant Ridge Street, Water, Drainage and Sewer Improvement District No. 636 of Little Rock, Arkansas, was formed as a municipal improvement district by Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance 14,354 (December 7, 1982), pursuant to which commissioners were appointed and bonds were issued dated as of September 1, 1983, in the original face amount of $880,000 to pay for improvements within the district; and WHEREAS, the original bonds were refunded as of April 1, 1987, in the amount of $685,000; and WHEREAS, all of the improvements for which the district was formed have been effected and accepted by the City of Little Rock and its water utilities for maintenance; and WHEREAS, the refunding bonds have been paid in full and retired and no further assessments will be required, and Twin City Bank, the refunding issue bond trustee, has distributed all of the funds received by it in that capacity in accordance with the pledge and mortgage and Arkansas law; and WHEREAS, the statutory report of the commissioners for 1993 and their final report were filed with the City Clerk on January 18, 1994, which is more than thirty days prior hereto, during which period no objections have been raised thereto. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The 1993 and final report filed with the City Clerk on January 18, 1994, by the commissioners and the trustee is hereby accepted and approved. &73 £3 -7 249 SECTION Z. Pleasant Ridge Street, Water, Drainage and Sewer Improvement District No. 636 of Little Rock, Arkansas, is hereby dissolved, effective immediately. SECTION 3. The current commissioners (Louis E. Schickel, Dr. Gerald Johnson and Dr. Hartford Hamilton), all previous commissioners and Twin City Bank, the trustee, are hereby discharged for any further responsibility therefor. SECTION 4.
