AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY LAND
USE PLAN, MODIFYING THE DEFINITION OF
TRANSITION ZONE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS; the Planning staff believes that the design overlay
regulations adequately protect the Transition Zone areas along
Highway 10, with such designations; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission agrees that the design
overlay regulations adequately protect the Transition Zone areas
along Highway 10 with such designations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS..
SECTION 1. In the definition section of the City Land Use
Plan, the phrase "Within the Transition Zone, a Planned Unit
Development is required" is changed to "A Planned Unit
Development is required within the Transition Zone, except that
properties on Highway 10 which meet the Design Overlay District
requirements in effect shall not require a Planned unit
Development."
