NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1: Section 32 -377 of the Little Rock City Code, 1988, is hereby amended by substituting in its entirety the following language: No person, firm or corporation shall park a truck, tractor, bus, trailer or semi - trailer with a manufacturer's rated capacity in excess of one ton or the chassis thereof, on any public residential street except when such vehicle is actually engaged in the process of providing a direct public service. No person, firm or corporation shall use any public street for the purpose of repairing any such truck, tractor, bus, trailer or semi- trailer or the chassis thereof, except when such repairs are necessitated by an emergency. SECTION 2: Any person convicted of a violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall be punished as provided in Section 1 -9 of the Little Rock City Code. SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage. SECTION 4: All laws and parts of laws which are inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
