4 ASSESSMENT OF BENEFITS TO BE
5 RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF
6 SEVERAL LOTS, BLACKS, AND PARCELS
7 OF LAND WITHIN WEST MARKHAM SEWER
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 146 OF
8 LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND FOR
9 OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the West Markham Sewer Improvement District No.
13 146 of Little Rock, Arkansas, a validly formed and duly existing
14 municipal improvement district under the laws of the State of
15 Arkansas, recently reviewed its assessment of the benefits
16 accruing to the owners of real property within the district by
virtue of the district's improvements; and
17 WHEREAS, the review was duly made by the Board of Assessors
18 of the District, who were appointed by the Board of Directors and
19 WHEREAS, the Board of Assessors has determined that due to
20 the recent growth in the District resulting in an increase in the
District's assessment of benefits, the District can reduce the
21
annual rate of levy of the collection of the assessment of
22 benefits.
23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors
24 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
25 SECTION 1. That each of the blocks, lots and parcels of
26 real property in the District shall continue to be assessed
according to the assessment list of the District as the same now
27 remains in the office of the City Clerk, but that the five (5)
28 percent levy on the assessment of each of the blocks, lots and
29 parcels currently collected by the County Collector shall be
30 reduced to a rate of collection equal to 2.651% of the assessment
of benefits, to be collected with the first installment of general
31 taxes becoming due in the year 1991 and annually thereafter with
32 the first installment of general taxes until the whole of the
33 local assessment shall be paid.
34 SECTION 2. That all ordinances and resolutions and parts
35 thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of
such conflict, and this ordinance shall be in full force and
