ORDINANCE NO. 15,964
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MASTER
STREET PLAN, CHANGING CLASSIFICATIONS
AND REDUCING DESIGN STANDARDS, AND FOR
OTHER MATTERS.
WHEREAS, the City Staff, Planning Commission and City
Board have excepted reduced standards on this roads, and;
WHEREAS, the roads in question are generally developed
and were built to require lesser standard, and;
WHEREAS, the Plans Committee and Staff-thoroughly
reviewed the proposed changes, and;
WHEREAS, after a public hearing, the full Planning
Commission recommends the changes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
SECTION 1. Taylor Loop, from Taylor Loop E to Taylor
Loop W, and Woodrow, from I -630 to Wright, are downgraded to
Collectors from Minor Arterials on the plan map.
SECTION 2. That Chester, from I -630 to Wright, is
upgraded to a Minor Arterial on the plan map.
SECTION 3. That the Master Street Plan Text in the
chapter entitled "Functional Classification of Street
System, Minor Arterial" is awarded as follows:

SECTION 6. That the Master Street Plan text in the
chapter entitled "Functional Classification.of Street
System, Principal Arterial" is amended to add the following
wording:

* Right -of -Way 70 feet with a 4 lane section, 5 lanes at
major intersections with additional right -of -way (80
