AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT AND ESTABLISHING A PCD
DISTRICT TITLED SCIMITAR TEMPLE (Z- 3150 -D)
IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
AMENDING CHAPTER 36 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the
following described property be changed from "O -3" to PCD.
A parcel of land in #1 Scimitar Circle, Little Rock,
Arkansas being more particularly described as follows:
Part of the NW 1/4, NW 1/4 and part of the SW 1/4, NW
1/4 and part of SE 1/4, NW 1/4 of Section 36, T -1 -N, R-
13-W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly
described as: Commencing at the NW corner of Section
36, T -1 -N, R -13 -W; thence N89022157 11E along the north
line of said Section 36, 1327.48' to the NE corner of
NW 1/4, NW 1/4 of said Section 36; thence S00009100 "E
along the East line of said NW 1/4, NW 1/4, 465.8 feet
to the Point of Beginning, said Point of Beginning is
on the West line of Beverly Terrace Subdivision; thence
continue S00009100 11E along the east line of said NW
1/4, NW 1/4 and the east line of said Subdivision 818.8
feet to the SE corner of said NW 1/4, NW 1/4 and said
Subdivision; thence S89024129 11E along the north line of
the SE 1/4, NW 1/4 and the south line of said
Subdivision 329.8 feet to the SW corner of J. O. Dickey
Subdivision; thence S89052120 11E along the south line of
said Subdivision 38.49 feet to the northerly right -of-
way of Interstate 30; thence S59042155 11W along said
right -of -way 291.26 feet; thence S62015145 11W along said
right -of -way 403.41 feet; thence S60058143 11W, 55.33
feet to the east line of Orbit Subdivision; thence
N00009100 11W along said east line 1213.02 feet; thence
N89051100 11E 289.63 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Containing 8.47 acres, more or less.
SECTION 2. That the preliminary site development
plan /plat be approved as recommended by the Little Rock
Planning Commission.

SECTION 3. That the change in zoning classification
contemplated for Scimitar Temple (Short -form PCD) is
conditioned upon obtaining a final plan approval within the
time specified by Chapter 36, Article VII, Section 36- 454(d)
of the Code of Ordinances.
SECTION 4. That the map referred in Chapter 36 of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and
designated district map be and it is hereby amended to the
extent and in the respects necessary to affect and designate
the change provided for in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall take effect and
be in full force upon final approval of the plan.
