4 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 28 -46 OF THE 1988
5 LITTLE ROCK CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES, PROVIDING

FOR A SCHEDULE OF GARBAGE COLLECTION FEES AS
7
8 SET OUT THEREIN; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
11 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

13 SECTION 1: Section 28 -46 (a) (1) of the 1988 Little Rock City Code is hereby
14 amended to read as follows:

"For each single residence or unit of multiple dwelling utilizing City approved
16
17 containers serviceable by manpower, the sum of ten dollars and six cents
18 ($10.06) per month commencing with billings issued after January 1, 1992;
19 such fees shall be collected monthly and billed on the statement for water for
20 said premises and be the debt and obligation of the person, firm or
21 corporation in whose name the water meter for said residence, or unit of
22
multiple dwelling is listed."

24 SECTION 2: Section 28 -46 (a) (2) of the 1988 Little Rock City Code is hereby
25
amended to read as follows:

27 "For such commercial property utilizing City approved, privately owned containers
28 not capable of being serviced, except by manpower, the fee will be Four Dollars and
29 Six Cents ($4.06) per month per cubic yard material handled but not less than a
30
31 minimum charge of Eighteen Dollars and Fifty Cents ($18.50) per month. Such fees
32 shall be collected monthly and be billed on the statement for water for the premises
33 served and be the debt and obligation of the person, firm or corporation in whose
34 name the water meter or meters for such commercial property is listed."

SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall become effective
January 1, 1992.
