MW WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas adopted the budget ordinance of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas for 1992 on December 17, 1991; and WHEREAS, the Police Department overtime has been greater than budget; and WHEREAS, the required Fire Department retirement contributions have been less than budget; and WHEREAS, even with this transfer the City has fulfilled all its requirements for contributions to the Fire Department's retirement funds for this year. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That $125,000 be transferred from Organization 4200 Fire Fighting retirement contribution account into Organization 5400 Police Detectives overtime account to meet the December payroll. SECTION 2. That all other provisions of Ordinance 16,137 shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3. In order to provide for the demands for overtime in the Police Department to protect the public welfare, an emergency is therefore declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage.
