AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK LAND USE PLAN IN THE OAK FOREST AND
STEPHEN PLANNING DISTRICTS, AND FOR OTHER
MATTERS

WHEREAS, after review by staff and public input, the land use
plans and to be updated; and,
WHEREAS, after public hearing the Planning Commission
recommends the plan updates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The land use plan is changed from Office to Mixed
Use west of Fair Park and north of 10th Street (existing motel,
restaurant, etc.)
SECTION 2. That the northwest corner of Fair Park Blvd. and
12th Street is changed from mixed use to commercial (existing Delta
Mart and Rally's).
SECTION 3. South of 12th Street either side of Taylor the
plan is changed from Single Family to Office (daycare).
SECTION 4. The southeast corner of Jackson and 12th Street is
changed for Single Family to Office (daycare).
SECTION 5. The land use plan is amended north of 12th Street
between Monroe and Madison from Low Density Multifamily to Public
Institutional (a church).
SECTION 6. The plan is amended from Madison to Adams, north
of 12th Street from Low Density Multifamily to Commercial (various
commercial uses).
SECTION 7. The plan is amended from Adams to Washington,
north of 12th Street from Single Family to Commercial (various
commercial uses).
SECTION 8. The plan is amended from Washington to Elm, north
of 12th Street and Peyton to Abigail, south of 12th Street from
Single Family to Mixed Use (various uses, commercial to single
family).
SECTION 9. The plan is amended south of 12th either side of
Adams from Single Family and Commercial to Public Institutional
(from two churches).

SECTION 10. The plan is amended from Single Family to Public
Institutional south of 12th Street between Abigail and Elm; and
either side of Johnson (for two churches).
SECTION 11. The plan is amended from Multifamily to Low
Density Multifamily north of 13th Street between Elm and Oak
Streets (mostly single family).
SECTION 12. The plan is amended between Pine and Cedar
Streets north of 9th Street from Office to Public Institutional
(new Health Department).
SECTION 13. The plan is amended between Cedar and Oak Streets
and 14th to 15th Streets from Low Density Multifamily to Single
Family (single family use).
SECTION 14. The plan is amended on the southwest corner of
Woodrow and 12th Street from Single Family to Commercial (Chief
Auto Parts).
SECTION 15. The plan is amended on the southeast corner of
Booker and 12th Street from Single Family to Low Density
Multifamily (duplexes).
