AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 16,258 WHICH
VACATED AND CLOSED PORTIONS OF WEST 15TH STREET,
WEST 16TH STREET AND LEANDER DRIVE, TO CORRECT THE
DESCRIPTION OF THAT PORTION OF WEST 16TH STREET
BEING VACATED AND CLOSED.
WHEREAS, Little Rock, Arkansas, Ordinance No. 16,258
(August 4, 1992) closed portions of West 15th Street, West
16th Street and Leander Drive in Blankinship's Addition and
Josephine Pankey Second Addition in the City of Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, the petition and the Ordinance inadvertently
omitted part of the description of that portion of West 16th
Street to be vacated and closed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I. Ordinance No. 16,258 is hereby amended to
correct the description of the streets to be vacated and
closed in Section 1, to read as follows:
Leander Street from the South line of West 15th
Street to North line of West 16th Street abutting
Block 2, Josephine Pankey's Second Addition; West
16th Street from South line of Lot 7, Block 2,
Josephine Pankey's Second Addition to the North
line of Lot 12, Block 1, Blankinship's Addition
and then running East between Block 2, Josephine
Pankey's Second Addition and Block 1,
Blankinship's Addition approximately 200 feet;
West 15th Street, if extended, from the East line
of Vogler Street to the West line of Leander
Street, all in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski
County, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk, shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County and recorded in the records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
