AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY LAND USE
PLAN IN THE CENTRAL CITY DISTRICT, FROM
SINGLE FAMILY AND MIXED OFFICE COMMERCIAL
TO PUBLIC INSTITUTIONAL AND FOR OTHER
MATTERS
WHEREAS, after discussion between the Little Rock School
District and City a mutually agreed on location was achieved;
and,
WHEREAS, the new school is necessary and the location is on
a major road; and,
WHEREAS, the recreational areas will be available for use by
the neighborhoods; and,
WHEREAS, after public hearing the Planning Commission
recommends the site for a new elementary school.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The land use plan is changed from Single Family
and Mixed Office Commercial to Public Institution East of Martin
Luther King, Jr. Drive and North of Tenth Street.
