AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTERS 31 AND 36
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS PROVIDING FOR A
VARIANCE FOR SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS AND THE
DESIGN OVERLAY REQUIREMENTS ON HIGHWAY 10
FOR WESTERN HILLS BAPTIST CHURCH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Chapter 31 of the Code of Ordinances be
amended to provide for variances of certain requirements within
the Subdivision Regulations and Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Little Rock for Western Hills Baptist Church.
Subsection a. That Section 31 -175 of the Code of Ordinances
be amended to provide for a deferral of right -of -way improvements
(sidewalk) along State Highway 10 until significant construction
takes place on the site of Western Hills Baptist Church.
Subsection b. That Section 36 -342 of the Code of Ordinances
be amended to provide for a deferral of the standards of the
Highway 10 Design Overlay District for Highway 10 until such time
as significant construction occurs on the site.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days from and after this passage.
