AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $51,200
FOR CAPITAL AND OPERATING COSTS FOR
THE GOVERNMENT ACCESS CHANNEL.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors have expressed an interest
in improving and expanding the City's cable channel programming;
and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to add administrative support
and purchase equipment to enhance the quality of Board meeting
telecasts and produce informative original programming about
municipal programs and activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: There is hereby appropriated the sum of $51,200
from the general fund balance for capital and operating costs for
the Government Access Channel.
SECTION 2: To the extent that this transfer amends the
1992 budget ordinance for the City of Little Rock -- LRO 16,137
(December 17, 1991) -- this ordinance shall serve as such
amendment.
SECTION 3: All laws and parts of laws inconsistent with
this provision are hereby repealed to the extent of such
inconsistency.
