AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE OTTER CREEK LAND USE
PLAN IN AN AREA NORTH OF MABELVALE TO SIBLEY
HOLE ROAD AND FOR OTHER MATTERS
WHEREAS, the City Planning Department after review of
the area recommends altering the adopted plan; and,
WHEREAS, there have been recent zoning, subdivision and
street alignment changes which make revising the plan
appropriate; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock Planning Commission,
after review and public hearing recommends amending the
adopted land use plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. An area of neighborhood commercial is added
north of the new alignment for Mabelvale Pike at Main Street
( Mabelvale).
SECTION 2. An area of open space is added to the North
of the new commercial to include property dedicated for park
land in the Pinedale Cove Subdivision. Also a strip of open
space is proposed as a buffer to the East of Mavis Circle.
SECTION 3. The apartment complex to the East of the new
neighborhood commercial, along Mabelvale Pike is to be changed
to multifamily.
SECTION 4. The area to the North to Sibley Hole Road is
to be shown for single family.
