AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH ZONING DISTRICTS
IN THE AREA LOCATED SOUTH OF KANIS AND DENNY
ROADS IN WESTERN PULASKI COUNTY WHICH IS OUTSIDE
OF BUT WITHIN THREE MILES OF THE CORPORATE LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, TO MAKE THE CITY'S
COMPREHENSIVE ZONING REGULATIONS APPLICABLE
THERETO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas (hereafter
referred to as the "City) desires to designate and specify
land use zones or districts in the area located south of Kanis
and Denny Roads, west of the City corporate limits, all of
which is outside of the City limits (hereafter referred to as
the "subject property ").
WHEREAS, the City has authority pursuant to state law to
zone the subject property which is located outside the
corporate limits of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City has properly adopted and filed a land
use plan regarding the subject property, and
WHEREAS, the City has comprehensive zoning regulations
presently in effect regarding property located within
corporate limits of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to designate zoning districts
within the subject property and make the City's comprehensive
zoning regulations applicable thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
