ORDINANCE NO. 16,544
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AMENDING SECTION 36 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR THE
OTHER MATTERS.
WHEREAS, after review of the existing neighborhood
condition, proposed future use and likelihood of changes in use,
it has been determined that properties between 23rd and Roosevelt
from Gaines to Main Street should be reclassified to protect the
integrity of the neighborhood, encourage reinvestment and address
the existing conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1: That the zone classification of the following
properties be and hereby are changed as follows:
5747 from R-6 (H'(Zh Rise apartment) to R -5 (Urban
Residential) described as Lots 15, North 45 feet of Lot 17,
21, 22 and North 35 feet of Lot 20 Rapley Estate and South
